Prusa Mendel i3 rework X-ends modified to avoid hyperstatic mount

Initially, my i3 printer had issues with its X-axis as the distance between the two holes and the bearings on the carriage were not uniform, resulting in a 2mm difference that prevented smooth end-to-end movement due to soft rod flexion. I resolved this by replacing the original Xends with free one-degree-of-freedom versions, significantly improving performance; the original Xends can be found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:119616.
