This LED RGB light bar is designed specifically for short, three-diode adhesive LED strips available on eBay, featuring white control boxes. Inspired by various light bars but tailored to one's unique preferences, it measures 61mm in length, 10.5mm in width, and 16mm in height with a 51mm bar spacing. Ideal for a snug fit on the Prusa Mendel i2's upper bars. To install, cut the LED strip to three diodes, solder wires to both sides, pass them through designated holes, and affix the adhesive side to the bottom. With this setup, you can link multiple sets of LEDs depending on your controller's capacity. The design file is created using Sketchup and includes an exported version for 3D printing. For successful 3D printing, follow these instructions: use a single shell with solid infill at every layer, avoid supports, and employ the material suitable for machine parts. The model has been optimized for lightness and strength, so no loose infilling is required.
