My personal Prusa Mendel i2 printer suffered from a missing crucial piece, specifically a clamp needed to securely hold the hot end beneath the extruder assembly. To rectify this situation, I designed a vital attachment that fastens onto the x-axis carriage and retains the hot end firmly in place, which has proven effective thus far. The goal is to provide relief for any other users experiencing the absence of this critical component.
