This Prusa Mendel design improvement addresses the issue of electronics placement, which is often left unresolved. By printing two "extended" frame vertex parts and replacing the top vertices, an additional shelf support is created for a wooden shelf to hold electronics and connectors. This arrangement results in a solid, one-piece printer that can be easily moved and offers easy access to electronics. The shelf also centralizes wire runs from motors, switches, and heaters. To assemble, print two "extended" parts, replace top vertices, create a shelf spanning the arms, and mount electronics on the shelf.
