Prusa Light frame
thingiverse
Hi, I wanted a light for my Prusa and couldn't find anything that really caught my eye, so I made my own. It's built from four components that screwless mount onto the Prusa aluminum profile without any additional screws or parts needed. Two of these parts link into the Prusa frame profile and two corner connectors are used. One of the lower frame holders has a hole for the LED strip's cabling to exit. The light frame can be moved forward or backward until it touches the Z axis, leaving enough space for the printhead to move all the way to its maximum left and right positions. I printed the parts lying on their sides without any support since my printer bridged the 8mm hole without issues. Perhaps someone likes this design as well, so feel free to use it however you like. It was created with Fusion 360. I chose an LED aluminum profile from the internet that measures 17.1mm to 8mm in dimensions.
