Prusa License Plate Frame

Now you can represent Prusa Research in traffic! This is a North American license plate frame that shows off your passion for 3D printing. This frame can also easily be made into a multicolour print without an MMU. Use of the .3mf files is highly recommended for the hexagon infill look, and optimized print settings and supports. Mounting holes are 8mm (0.314") diameter, 177.8mm (7") center to center. Fits 12" x 6" license plates with 7" hole spacing. Print instructionsHighly recommended to use the .3mf files as the hexagon design is done in the slicer I recommend ASA for this print as it will last the longest in the sun. If you don't want to use PLA, you must change the material in PRUSA Slicer because the PLA setting is the only safe way to post a .3mf Print in two parts and glue together. Use Gorilla Glue or other waterproof glue to glue them together. (CA glue not recommended as it will not survive wet weather for long) If you are lucky enough to have a larger machine you can print it in one piece. This is also a great model to play around with PrusaSlicer modifiers.
