Prusa LED Holder

Prusa LED Holder

I really liked the concept of a free-standing light in my enclosure that wouldn't hinder quick maintenance removals. I came across one design that caught my eye, printed it out, but then identified major drawbacks - scaling issues and potential extruder collisions at full height. Instead, I utilized this initial idea as a foundation to create my own custom design with added height. After printing the LED strip holder, it needs assembly via glue. I reused leftover 12-volt LED tape from another project and connected it to an unused 12-volt output on my power supply. The light is controlled by a relay switch activated through GPIO output via Octoprint on a raspberry pi. update: I upgraded the design with new fasteners for attaching the light to the enclosure ceiling, eliminated the arms altogether, and uploaded a revised STL file for these fasteners.
