Prusa LED Holder

Prusa LED Holder

I was excited about incorporating a light into my enclosure that could be easily removed without any hassle, so I designed one that wasn't attached to the enclosure itself. This design caught my eye, but after printing it out, I realized its limitations: scaling issues and the extruder hitting it at full height made it unusable. Undeterred, I used this as a starting point and added some much-needed height to create something new. Once printed, the LED strip holder needed assembly with some glue, which I accomplished using leftover 12v LED tape from another project. I wired it into a spare 12v output on my power supply and controlled the light via a relay switch connected to GPIO through Octoprint running on a raspberry pi. Update: I upgraded my setup by attaching fasteners to secure it firmly to the ceiling of the enclosure, replacing the arms altogether. New STL files have been added for these fasteners.
