The design is intended to decrease the contrast and brightness of the PRUSA LCD which features a very bright blue screen. It doesn't completely block the blue light, but an orange tint makes it look better. The user can easily add more optical film on top of it. Additionally, it does not harm the view angle. A tilted side view slope was carefully integrated inside. Yes, this is the world's first optical LCD filter for 3D printers.
