Prusa Lack Enclosure Heatbed Cable Clamp - 60 Degree, for Screw Terminal Heatbed and Textile
thingiverse
I discovered multiple versions of this cable clamp that minimize the overall functional depth of Prusa printers in order to fit inside a Lack enclosure. Unfortunately, many existing versions were created before the switch to screw-terminal contacts on the bed. The 60-degree bend version works exceptionally well, with a consistent and even bend radius on the cable throughout its full travel across the bed. With the control panel still mounted to the front of the frame, the printer fits snugly inside the enclosure with approximately 5 mm to spare. At the furthest extent of travel, the cable makes some minor contact with the rear of the enclosure, but it's hardly noticeable. This bracket was designed from scratch, utilizing existing brackets as templates for holes. I added depth to the bracket itself to account for the increased depth of ring terminals and incorporated small detent features to firmly grasp the textile sleeve. The screws for screw terminals have also been taken into consideration – there is sufficient clearance for everything. Finally, the position of nuts/screws clamping the bottom of the cover together was adjusted to better grip cables at a 60-degree angle.
