Prusa inspired encoder knob for Ender 3 and others
thingiverse
I liked the original design of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4301957 very much. Unfortunately, it didn't fit the usual encoder knobs found on different external display units and printers like the Ender 3 (see pictures). I hollowed out the lower part and changed the shape of the hole to make it fit. I also made the whole knob slightly bigger. It can still be printed, as it is, without supports. You may want to consider to use a brim for better adhesion, though. There are multiple STL files for different hole diameters. For myself, I used the 6.1 mm one. Also the original can't be sliced with PrusaSlicer, since the value of $fn seems to high. It will close the hole on the bottom after slicing. If you get similar issues, try to further reduce $fn in the source file, but the current value should work.
