This spool holder clips onto Prusa's top for 90mm wide, 2kg spools, ensuring easy filament dispensing in line with the X axis to prevent flexing and rattling. Assemble it by inserting two 608 bearings into 40mm or 30mm retainers, then sandwich the spool between these and a 150mm long 5/16 thread rod, held in place with 5/16 nuts. Attach the Spool Arms to the Clip-on Base using #4 X 1/2" countersink wood screws, spread the base gently, clip it onto your Prusa's top threads, and finally position the spool assembly on the arms, securing it with 5/16 nuts on each side. Print your parts at 2 perimeters, 2 solid layers, and 0.3 fill density for optimal performance.
