This updated design offers a superior hold on the IR sensor plug and includes a dedicated hole for an LED indicator. The inclusion of the LED provides an immediate visual cue when detecting filament load, addressing potential issues with the IR sensor's ability to detect filament under certain conditions. A Kingbright 3mm 5V LED is soldered directly to the IR detector as depicted in one of the accompanying images.
