Prusa Ikea Lack Door Handles No Glue
thingiverse
I totally revamped the door handles for my i3 mk3 Ikea Lack Enclosure. For a while, I had problems with the magnet falling off, forcing me to constantly re-glue it back on. So, I came up with a brand new handle featuring a slide-in slot for the magnet, eliminating the need for hot glue altogether. The door handle should work perfectly with a magnet that's 0.375" (9.525mm) high, 0.127" (3.2258mm) deep/thick, and can vary in length. There's also a notch at the end of the slot that lets you push the magnet back out so it won't get stuck. If you're experiencing any issues or have ideas for upgrades to this design, let me know! I tried to stick closely to the original handle so they should be interchangeable. As for the inside door rest, I haven't made it yet, but it's on my agenda and will be uploaded as an update once I've completed it. Thanks a lot! Enjoy!
