I upgrade my 3D printer with a new linear rail on the X axis, 270mm long. It's a huge improvement and makes printing smooth and fast, with much better quality. I replace one of the Z-axis linear rails with this new one because its steel color fits in better than the original black one. To make it more secure, I add some heat-set brass inserts. Be careful when doing this, as it can be tricky - try practicing on an old print or use smaller bolts instead. I create a video of the process at X8 speed, which isn't a tutorial but rather a demonstration of how I do it. You can find the file with 3mm and 4mm bed mount hole options available for download. If you want to heat-set the brass inserts, use the 4mm hole version. The new linear rail is available on AliExpress.
