Remove the existing extruder fan to make way for the new cooling system. Assemble the heat sink using shorter screws for optimal performance. Position the fan 5 fins below its original location to maximize airflow. Attach the duct to the bottom screws, ensuring a secure fit. This throat fan assembly is specifically designed for hotends with fin diameters of approximately 15MM, with a minimum clearance of 10MM from the base to the hotend. Leave at least 2MM between the hotend and the duct to maintain optimal airflow and prevent overheating.
