Prusa i3MK3S Light Holder
thingiverse
Simple bracket to support a cheap light bar above the print bed on a Prusa i3MK3s+. I'm sure it'll work on other Prusa models which have the hexagon perforation on the 'Z axis top parts'. Check the clearance between the extruder assembly and these bars at both extents of the X axis while at the top of the Z axis. For me it was fine, but close. I printed using the 'Generic PETG 0.2mm Quality' reset in Prusa Slicer and the fit is snug. There should be no need for glue, but possibly a dab of CA glue might ensure it stays put long term. The version i printed (in the photos) has 10mm thick bars. After printing (and waiting for hours...) I think this is probably overkill. 5mm should be fine unless your light bar weighs a kg or two... So in the uploaded files i have reduced this to 5mm, and extended the hexagon shape from 5mm to 10mm to extend past the thickness of the 'Z axis top parts' a little. I have provided the STL for slicing, and both the OBJ and F3D for further tweaking. Let me know if you find this useful? This bracket could be the basis for any number of accessories mounting at this location.
