Prusa i3MK2s fan duct advanced - "fiddler crab edition"
thingiverse
*** Updated on 14th October 2018 - Fiddler Crab Edition *** Changes Since Last Release: - The left blower has been greatly enlarged to significantly improve cooling on the back side of the print. - Mount hole for screw relocated -0.5mm in X and Z direction, ensuring perfect fit and level alignment of fan duct (previously tilted by 2-3 degrees). - A small wall was added at inlet where fan sits for easier alignment and preventing air from exiting there. - Minor design flaws fixed in CAD model. If you're using an older version, upgrading is recommended due to significantly improved print quality on the back side of the print. Happy Printing! *** Updated on 8th April 2018 - Final Edition *** Changes Since Last Release: - The whole body has been lowered by 1.5mm for increased clearance towards parts being printed. - Outlets' angle adjusted for optimized airflow, especially when using silicone sock on heatblock (highly recommended). - Notches added to top surface and left side of inlet for optimal fit of fan duct with stock blower. *** Updated on 22nd December 2017 - XMAS Edition *** Changes Since Last Release: - Additional 1mm clearance on the left side due to outlet misalignment. - Clearance increased towards PINDA Sensor to avoid deformation (previous version touched holder). - Extension added to block on right side for better stability, where "hook" snaps in to hold fan duct. - Front side cooling opening widened for improved airflow from front side including adaptation of "air distribution peak" inside fan duct. - "i3 MK2s" letters added to clearly indicate the intended model. Enjoy! *** Updated on 8th November 2017 *** Changes Since Initial Release: - Clearance increased towards PINDA-sensor to prevent deformation when warm/hot. - Bigger slot created for front-side cooling. - Critical parts redesigned in Fusion to avoid slicing errors in some slicers.
