prusa i3 Zonestar p802/Anet A8 Y axis motor mount
thingiverse
I attach the motor to a wooden board using screw holes in the base, significantly increasing the rigidity of the mount over the original design. This model was printed with 20% infill and no infill on the bottom to save time, but I strongly recommend printing it with thicker walls around the motor mounting holes - at least 1.5-2.1mm - to prevent the plastic from deforming when the motor bolts are tightened. The base plate should be down during printing, and supports should only be attached from the bed to the back tabs. The rear plate tabs fit quite snugly but will attach securely.
