These parts are designed for Prusa i3 models that have "z-top" components featuring holes, which could potentially allow smooth rods to move up and down freely. By attaching these clip-on parts to the "z-top" components, you can prevent the smooth bars from moving. They feature built-in supports, eliminating the need for additional ones. How I Designed This These parts were created in OpenSCAD software. You can edit the SCAD file to customize them as needed. The included STL files should suffice if your smooth bars are perfectly aligned, but you may need to adjust leftExtraSlot or rightExtraSlot settings if a bar extends above the Z top. To use the "ztopper_both_in_situ" option in the SCAD file, download and unzip data.zip from the same folder as the SCAD file. The zip file contains a data folder with the z-top-left.stl file.
