I designed a custom z probe for my Prusa kit because it didn't come with one that was easily adjustable. The first thing I printed was this part, which allows me to create an adjustable z probe without having to reprint any of my existing parts. It's designed to work seamlessly with m4 hardware and can be made using standard printing techniques. The dimensions are in millimeters.
