One of my threaded rod bearings kept slipping out unexpectedly. I experimented with using glue to secure it, but it only worked temporarily before it popped out again. I created a custom part in Autodesk 123D Design to replace the original smooth rod holder with a new design that securely holds both the smooth and threaded rods in place.
