Prusa i3 Z axis top bearing Anti wobble-8mm version
thingiverse
Based on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:242020, replace Prusa3/box_frame/inc/functions.scad by putting z-axis_bearing into Prusa3/box_frame and open it using OpenSCAD for creating STL model. You can use hot glue or epoxy to fix bearings in place. This 8mm linear rod is designed with a 5mm z axis threaded rod specifically for the box wooden frame version of this part. It uses two 625zz bearings, but if you don't have these bearings available, you can use Virtual bearings instead. To get perfect hole dimensions, use drill bits M8 and M5. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa I3 Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 40% Notes: I have used PLA as material to create this design. How I Designed This: I used FreeCAD and OpenSCAD software to bring this project to life.
