Prusa i3 Y-Idler

Prusa i3 Y-Idler

thingiverse

We've engineered a more stable idler for the Einstein variant (M10 threaded rods) of the Prusa-i3. All existing idlers suffer from two primary issues: they're mounted on a single rod, causing rotation and wobble; and since they mount on the upper rod, the points at which the timing belt is attached are not aligned in line = the timing belt is stretched into a triangle shape, further exacerbating the movement and wobble of one-point-mount idlers. This design aims to rectify these problems. Materials: Print: 1 block 1 flanged pulley 2 spacers 2 sides Additional materials needed: 2 M4 nuts 2 M4 screws 1 624zz bearing
