Prusa i3 Y axis belt holder

Prusa i3 Y axis belt holder

This Y-axis belt holder is designed for a specific Prusa i3 variant - ANet A8. The original Y belt holder was laser-cut acrylic, which presented two significant problems: It held the Y belt at a level higher than pulleys at both ends, resulting in excessive vibration when the plates are near the minimum or maximum of the Y axis. It felt brittle and unsure how much to tighten it. As a result, I was unable to sufficiently tighten the Y belt tensioner. This design solves both problems. You need to duplicate it in your slicer as you will need two sets. It's designed to print without support. Please make sure to break it into individual parts and rotate them appropriately. The design is available on OnShape so that anyone can customize it to their own size/need.
