The new end stop's placement is carefully considered, ensuring its position remains farther away from the x rods following modifications made to the x carriage. I crafted a custom design for this component which attaches securely onto standard 8mm x rods. Its longer slot enables effortless adjustments of the microswitch up and down, providing finer control. To stabilize the microswitch, a small hole has been included to accept a screw, allowing it to be held gently in place. Furthermore, I've incorporated a useful feature – a dedicated slot to route the wires through - facilitating easier assembly and disassembly without the need for soldering or damaging the connections. The actual distance from the x bars to the microswitch is now set at 30mm.
