Prusa I3 x ends are ideal for converting the Anet A6 from a horizontal carriage to a vertical. All other models failed due to incorrect dimensions, as the lead screw and z rod are 15mm apart. Additionally, the x rods are 15mm longer, so I extended the belt tensioner accordingly. The holes for the X rods were quite tight, requiring an 8mm drill bit for proper installation. To remount the end stops for the x and z axis, I relied on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:30085 since the originals won't function with the vertical carriage properly installed. This conversion was printed using high-quality carbon fiber PLA filament from Amazon at https://amzn.to/2qf623u.
