I crafted this spacer so my j-head hotend cooling fan wouldn't knock into the x-carriage anymore. This allows me to pivot the fan mount sideways by 90 degrees, giving ample space for a front-mounted print fan to be installed. The extruder I'm using is: www.thingiverse.com/thing:65939 - I thought it worth mentioning this model. To prevent interference from the fan, the spacer has been made 10mm thick. Two holes are bored in the spacer, placed 30mm apart, and they're M3-sized to securely fasten it to the x-carriage.
