Quickly fit a dial gauge on your Prusa Compact Extruder (Thing 80884) by mounting it to the part with a bolt and sliding it into the existing holes that attach the extruder to the X carriage. Ensure you use the 24mm hole configuration for proper fitting, as other sizes may not be compatible. The deep holes and rear-located screws provide ample space for the pins.
