A few days ago, I was thinking about creating timelapses. These are extremely satisfying to watch, and I'm hoping to create a collection with more print timelapses in the future. I've designed this for Prusa i3 printers and Samsung S7 phones, using their original cases. If you have a phone that's not supported, please let me know so I can create a holder for it. One DIY enhancement to keep in mind is that if you're printing small items, you'll need to add a piece of paper between the buildplate and your print. This isn't necessary for larger prints, as the camera will show more of the print volume. Important thing number two: On some printers, the holder may touch the head or nozzle. To avoid this, keep your design at the back of the buildplate at all times.
