Prusa i3 Steel Y smooth rod fixer

At the outset of my printer build project, I had planned to construct an i3 with an acrylic frame. Consequently, I had ordered slightly longer smooth rods. However, I later altered my frame plan to a steel frame and found that the rods were excessively long for the new design. To rectify this issue, I decided to create and print some fixers for them. As can be seen in the accompanying picture, these fixers are designed with material-friendliness in mind and provide a simple solution to secure the rods in place. My hope is that they will be of assistance to individuals who also have longer rods similar to my build. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: Prusa i3 Steel Rafts: No Rafts Resolution: 0.2mm Infill Percentage: 20% Notes: Simply duplicate the design three times before printing to obtain a complete fixer set.
