Prusa i3 Spool Mount Connector

Connecting rod for the Original Prusa i3 MK2 filament spool holders/mount. Meant to be a press fit on the original Prusa arms, connecting them together seamlessly. The part measures 16mm in inner diameter, 24mm in outer diameter, and 120mm in length. Print Settings Printer: Original Prusa i3 MK2 Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: .2 Infill: 10% Notes: Printed with a 4mm brim to ensure strong bed adhesion. A lower infill percentage was chosen, but Slic3r was set to do solid infill every 50 layers. As printed in PLA, the part fit perfectly onto the Original Prusa arms. Post-Printing The connecting rod is used in combination with the Prusa i3 MK1 & MK2 Spool Holder V3 - Quick Change by IsmaelPR1. Although it doesn't touch the spool, its presence provides vital support in emergency situations where the spool might be bumped off. How I Designed This Two cylinders were created using Windows 10's 3D modeling software. One cylinder had a diameter of 24mm, while the other measured 16mm in diameter. Both cylinders were set to 120mm in height and centered on each other, with the smaller cylinder then being subtracted from the larger one to create the connecting rod design.
