Prusa i3 Rotary Encoder Knob
thingiverse
The simple knob takes on a valve-like appearance, effectively replacing the existing rotary encoder next to the LCD screen on the Prusa i3MK2S (and possibly other versions). Upon measurement of the rotary encoder itself at 5.8mm, I created a hole in the bottom measuring 6mm - ensuring a snug fit on any rotary encoder with the same diameter. This design prioritizes aesthetics over functionality, serving no purpose beyond its visual appeal. The knob was printed using Amolen Bronzefill PLA as it complements my all-black printer nicely, utilizing the 'Generic PLA' settings within PrusaControl.
