Version 2 of the fan duct upgrade is now live at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:543371, bringing significantly improved airflow to the game. The revamped design addresses the disappointing ventilation system of the original I3 Rework package by introducing a far more effective airflow pathway. As opposed to its restrictive predecessor, this updated model enables an exponentially greater amount of air to circulate freely around and through the hot end. One notable upgrade is the enhanced ability of Version 2 to counteract potential blockages that hindered the original design's effectiveness. This breakthrough modification effectively eradicates back pressure issues that led to significant air recirculation into the build area, thereby reducing part quality. I've taken it upon myself to develop an alternative iteration compatible with lower profile hot ends. The updated design files can be found in the repository alongside their corresponding source codes. Update Alert: Following this announcement on November 3rd, I rolled out an upgraded variant engineered specifically for larger fan hubs, effectively ensuring seamless integration with various system configurations.
