To resize the filament hole in an STL file for 1.75mm filament, I used Blender without altering other features. Although the filament guide on the idler may need adjustment, I tested it with a pre-printed 3mm version. Follow http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:291291's instructions, but replace the file with this one.
