Prusa I3 R2 EVO Graduated Knob - Pomello graduato REV.2
thingiverse
For "Prusa i3 R2" by Nicola P. Hi, this is a fresh update of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1456211. I made 2 key changes: a) The knob design was revamped with a numbered dial b) The structure is now built using M3x5, M3x20 screws and a M3*12 Brass Female Hex Hexagonal Screw Nut Pillar. The nut pillar is nestled inside the plastic knob, while the two screws push against each other in it. This creates a rigid block that can rotate up and down in the M3 threaded hole of the printing plate aluminum chassis. Now the knob features 9 printed numbers, and with each complete turn producing a displacement in height of 0.35mm, you'll have precise control over fine tuning. With these numbers, you can easily read the position number for each corner and save it. Before printing, simply check if the knob position numbers match the saved ones to verify the height of the four corners. If you need to move the plate up or down, just rotate the knob by the same number of positions for each corner.
