Prusa i3 print encloser spool holder
thingiverse
I finally finished enclosing http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1144746, now I need a spool holder to finish it off perfectly. Feel free to use this elsewhere as long as you keep in mind that the space between the center of the holes on the legs is 105mm. Two spool holders are designed for a 50mm inner diameter hole similar to those from plastics2print, and my existing spool has a 200mm outer diameter with about 5 cm of extra space available. Note that I did not design the finger wheel but got it here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3924. Update 1: The 123dx file and a step(.stp) export are included now. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Supports: Yes Infill: 40% Notes: When using supports, I advise setting a pattern spacing of 1mm and doing some post sanding as you may still need it. I printed them individually one at a time. Post-Printing: A bit of sanding might be needed for the back of the legs if printing as a whole piece but it was okay with me since I wanted to paint them that way, though I could have made the legs straight; this design allows for the use of a 20cm rod on the enclosure too.
