Based on the original spool holders from Prusa, I redesigned them to clip tightly under the top of the frame. Pressing them down from the top and pushing the bottom into place is a breeze. I also added support for an 8mm rod, using a 110mm long rod combined with a spool hub to adapt the 50mm spool inner diameter - plenty of those available on Thingiverse. I used a customized version of this one http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:605360 . The clip-on system also works great with the original Prusa i3 top spool holders as I discovered. This thing was made with Tinkercad and can be edited online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/laMFsRZ4VUX. I plan to create a double middle one soon so we can mount 2 spools.
