I designed this X carriage for Prusa i3 Rework X-carriage (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:586636). The primary objective was simplicity, compactness, sturdiness, and support for E3DV6, drag chain, inductive sensor, and lighting. Achieving all these goals, however, my lighting solution has its drawbacks since it was an experiment - I modified the Prusa fan duct to accommodate an LED strip. If you plan to add this feature, be certain to keep the hotend cartridge isolated as it may touch the LED strip and short circuit. I assume no liability for any damage that might result from using this design. Print in ABS or PETG or other high-temperature resistant filaments. Use only a silicone heat block sock! To attach this X carriage, use self-tapping screws. Similarly, use a self-tapping screw to secure the hot-end. I employed an 18mm inductive sensor. The chain used is: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1872473 If you appreciate my design, give it a like, follow me, tip me, or explore my other designs.
