Prusa I3 MKS2 improved Fan Duct / Nozzle
thingiverse
UPDATE October 11th, 2017 Added a third opening similar to the original one. It now combines all the benefits of both the original one from the front and the additional ones for the sides and back as well. At least I am quite happy with it. Downside could be in certain cases one would have to watch the bed temperature for certain prints not to drop too much or have the fan kick in full power some layers later... Thanks a lot for all the predecessors. I tried all of those ducts with more or less success. The one I remixed mine from seemed to be the most promising with the recess for the PINDA and space for the silicone sock and all... I have no clue how all the other printers and their parts did look, but mine would not want to fit with my extruder, especially with the thin wall between fan and extruder lid. I just did remove the latter and made some room for the fan. After doing some test prints with the usual Marvins, Benchys, and Treefrogs for me, it is a great improvement to the original Prusa-Nozzle of my I3 MK2S Kit (which as such is not that bad at all...). Made with PETG from these guys https://www.3dpsp.de/ as all my other printer parts. No drooping or degrading at all... This stuff turned out to be quite fine to process. It is quite sturdy, no problems with adhesion at all. And really nice and brilliant colors for a reasonable price.
