The attached parts are modified from existing designs. A blower has been added with two 5mm LED holders, illuminating the nozzle and workpiece. The extruder carrier began as a standalone unit featuring built-in bearing holders, but another holder was found, which proved more suitable (thanks to toolson). The new design can be used to swap jobs between an MK8 and Bowden setups. Toolson's base and Bowden were utilized, with the MK8 added to capture existing mounting holes in the base. A fan mount has been installed in front of the extruder, replacing the heat sink for better access to filament changes. This setup blows air over the 6mm stem and the bottom half of the aluminum extruder. Cable management is improved by a 15mm cable chain mount, and a tab allows operation of the limit switch or adjustment of the left stop point using a bolt.
