Prusa i3 MK3s - Mount for Webcam with Ringlight - Razer-Kiyo
cults3d
For my Prusa i3 MK3S I designed a mount for a WebCam with Ringlight to observe the prints. It uses the Webcam 'Razer-Kiyo'. https://www.razer.com/gaming-broadcaster/razer-kiyo The WebCam is connected via USB to a RaspBerry Pi 3b+ running Octoprint. The mount is designed in a way that it always shows the tip of the nozzle, even on the first layer. This was important for me because I want to see when something is wrong and the nozzle prints in mid air. If you use other mounts which are on an angled perspective, errors like this are difficult to see. Also important for me was the Ringlight directly on the WebCam for a good illumination of the object. Hardware you need: - Razer Kiyo Webcam with build in Ringlight - 1/4" x 3/4" screw for the trypod thread of the Kiyo camera - M5 x 25 screw and nut for the hinges
