Prusa i3 MK3s - Mount for Webcam with Ringlight - Razer-Kiyo
thingiverse
I designed a mount for my Prusa i3 MK3S to observe prints with a WebCam featuring Ringlight. The Webcam is the Razer-Kiyo, available at https://www.razer.com/gaming-broadcaster/razer-kiyo. The Razer Kiyo Webcam connects via USB to a RaspBerry Pi 3b+ running Octoprint. My mount ensures that it always shows the tip of the nozzle, even on the first layer. This was crucial for me since I need to see when something goes wrong and the nozzle prints in mid-air. Using mounts with angled perspectives makes errors like this hard to spot. Having the Ringlight directly on the Webcam provides excellent illumination of the object. To make it work, you'll need: - Razer Kiyo Webcam with built-in Ringlight - 1/4" x 3/4" screw for the tripod thread of the Kiyo camera - M5 x 25 screw and nut for the hinges
