Prusa i3 Mk3s MMU2s 6mm OD tubing to MMU adapter
thingiverse
In order to minimize resistance as filament flows into the MMU, I am enlarging the tubes from 4 mm to 6 mm outer diameters. Unable to locate PC6-M10*1 pneumatic fittings at a reasonable cost, which would normally connect 6mm tubing to the adapter designed by vertigo235, I have devised an alternative solution. This approach provides a similar push-to-connect interface for 6mm tubing as the pneumatic ones, ensuring a secure fit despite not being entirely air-tight. The result is a smooth filament flow into the MMU. Additionally, this design allows tubes to be installed one at a time, eliminating the need for the cumbersome juggling act associated with the stock MMU setup. STL file "OD6mmTubeToMMU_Adapter.STL" contains the modified part. The original file remains in the folder, allowing you to continue editing in SolidWorks as desired.
