For the Prusa i3 MK3S, the MK3 and MMU2 offer a distinct FS cover design. When you leave the printer unattended, dust accumulates on its surface. If it settles on a filament, it will be drawn into the hotend alongside the filament, ultimately causing nozzle clogging. This problem can be avoided by incorporating a piece of foam that cleans through the filament as it's pulled along. This design features a compact foam compartment and is essentially an adapted FS cover. The compartment itself has a diameter of 10mm and a height of 13mm. To ensure effective cleaning, the foam must surpass the compartment in size to snugly wrap around the filament. Assembled identically to the original FS cover, the lid clips securely on top.
