Prusa i3 MK3s DIY Zaribo Frame
grabcad
UPDATE: incorporated igS, step assembly (not sure how to extract individual files) and STL files. To build my own Zaribo frame without purchasing their kit, I added everything in CAD to test if it would work seamlessly. However, it was challenging to find Zaribo STEP file components due to potential breaking from the original STEP Assembly file. My Model comprises several parts dissected into individual STEP units, as well as multiple occurrences of the same part from the Original Zaribo STEP file cluttered with millions of folders. Initially, I utilized my Prusa i3 Mk3s, necessitating a frame compatible with its components. The Original Zaribo stood out due to varied length rods and 3030 profiles; consequently, I adjusted every aspect to match my existing setup, possibly prompting a need for longer rods. My design further entails substituting certain mechanical STEP parts with GrabCAD- sourced equivalents. Working with SW files proved more efficient than dealing with converted SLDPRT files from STEP sources. Moreover, I borrowed assemblies from Jonathan Kayne's Prusa i3 MK3s model, repurposing them as single units to integrate Zaribo frame features and some Prusa components in a hybrid 3D printing system.
