PRUSA i3 MK3 Y-axis 4 bolt reinforced motor mount with skinny belt holder
thingiverse
When I first downloaded this remix, I added a fourth hole because the motor has four holes and I believe they should be utilized effectively. This caused the belt holder to collide with the fourth hole arm, prompting me to make the belt holder thinner. This modification worked well initially, but it resulted in the belt holder hitting the flat upright with the slot for pulley adjustment. Upon reviewing the original design, I realized that changes were necessary. I subsequently redesigned the motor mount again to minimize the flat section as much as possible. The outcomes of these redesigns are presented here, showcasing how the bearing now comes into contact with the end of its travel exactly as Prusa intended.
