Updated June 4, 2019 - Centering issue resolved within 0.003mm (photo still shows slightly off-center part). Added .f3d and .step format files for latest version remixing. Installed an Adafruit 3.5" TFT LCD touchscreen and Octopi rig in the front panel of the Prusa i3 Mk3, keeping it perfectly centered on the printer frame without any modifications to the printer. This project aimed to achieve this result, and here's the outcome. Inspired by the Prusa LCD Super Cover designed by yetisnack for Prusa i3 mk2/mk2s. This cover is tilted back approximately 25 degrees compared to the original Prusa cover to accommodate the extra bulk of the rPi + TFT display and associated cables without obstructing the build plate. It features built-in legs for mounting it to the printer, making taller rubber feet unnecessary. Easy to print in PLA with optional supports on the build plate. Using a 0.6mm nozzle and 2mm layers, it prints quickly within just a few hours. Reuses existing hardware for the front panel to mount the Prusa LCD to the cover and the cover to the printer. For mounting the Raspberry Pi, brass inserts threaded for M2 x 2mm hex bolts were used. When mounting the touchscreen, be extremely cautious as it's a tight fit; forcing it may crack the screen. The USB port to power the Pi is accessible from the bottom, but consider using a 90-degree cable to minimize any force on the USB port.
