This is a versatile spool holder adapter block and precision-guided filament feeder engineered for seamless integration with the Prusa i3 MK3 spool holder onto a top-mounted IKEA Lack table enclosure. The adapter block can be securely fastened either by applying a strong adhesive bond or by screwing it down using 4mm x 30mm wood screws. The filament guide boasts a precisely crafted 2mm channel for smooth passage of the filament. To create an ideal mounting position, a 1/4" x 11-1/4" channel must be carefully cut into the table in alignment with your extruder's X-axis. A jigsaw is the preferred tool for this task, and once cut, secure it firmly using CA glue. If you lack access to a jigsaw, you can utilize the provided drill guide and a 1/4" drill bit to patiently drill holes along the table, gradually creating a channel. To complete the process, use a utility knife to carefully remove excess material from the surrounding area. Remember to drill all the way through to ensure both sides of the table have a continuous channel. While the finish might appear rough at first, it will be skillfully concealed by the filament guide, ensuring a professional-looking result.
