Prusa i3 MK3 right angle heatbed adapter
thingiverse
I'm trying to squeeze my new Prusa i3 MK3 into a tight enclosure was hindered by the length of the heatbed cable. My rapid solution - altering an MK2 right-angle adapter! Here's a new cover for the heated bed contacts that allows the cable to exit through the side, and therefore fit snugly into an enclosure. You'll have to find a fresh spot to attach the nylon plastic filament, but I was able to simply push it into one of the zip-tie holes. It's a bit rough around the edges, but it's been working smoothly so far. I hope this helps someone out.
